Inglewood PTSA is facilitating the collection of gift cards for families in need at our school. Please note this is not a PTSA fundraiser and the funds will not be used by PTSA. We are merely assisting with the communication and facilitation of the collection. The Next Super Sitters is Coming Up! This program trains young people in basic babysitting and home safety skills. Students completing this class will be better prepared to provide a safer and more positive infant/childcare experience. Course topics include parent expectations, basic first aid, home and fire safety, Heimlich maneuver, telephone tips, toys, activities, and infant care. We are looking for volunteers for a short term volunteer commitment for the Nominating Committee and Financial Review Committee. Where to start? These are unprecedented times. I read an analogy yesterday that said we are building this plane while we are flying it. Everything is moving so fast every day; it is hard to keep up and it is overwhelming for us all. So, my top advice to all our IMS families is: take care of yourselves and your families. Make sure you get outside for fresh air, eat well and get enough rest. Exercise, take walks/runs outside and stay connected through phone, video, and other social media.
